Receiving an Offer on Your Property

When your property is listed and advertised, the natural next step would be to receive offers on the property. Buyers should be encouraged to make an offer to get the ball rolling.
Receiving an offer on your property is often the beginning of a very exciting – but delicate – negotiation process. Property Sell Direct (PSD) offers a number of services to help you in this regard.

We suggest that you use the PSD Property Consultant who was appointed to your property to help facilitate the negotiation, offer to purchase and final contract for you. This is a highly recommended option. The Property Consultant is a professional person with extensive experience in the negotiation process.

Always remember that an offer is a necessary stimulus to get the process going.  An offer is not a contract, and it is not binding in any way.  If the first offer is not acceptable, one can be very creative with counter offers.

There are 3 balls to juggle in the negotiation process. If you are able to keep all three in the air, you may be close to a deal which satisfies both the seller and the buyer.
The three negotiation balls:

  1. Determine what you, the owner, wants for the property
  2. Determine the true market value of the property
  3. Determine what the buyer is willing and able to pay for the property

Contact one of our professional consultants to facilitate the negotiations and contract for you.
We trust that the information above will help in the negotiation process after you received an offer on your property. If you need more information, please contact us.
