Yes, you may use the services of a traditional estate agent to sell your property for you.

It is important to explain to them that you have decided to sell your own property and have appointed Property Sell Direct to do the marketing for you.

When an estate agent calls to inform you that he/she has a buyer that would be interested to view your property, the fear is that you will miss the opportunity if you don't allow them.

You don't have to if you follow these steps:

1. They need to be willing to disclose the name of the potential buyer. There is the possibility that you may already have access to the buyer.
   
2. You need to decide whether you would give the agency permission to advertise your property on the internet and in the written media. If you do they will be competition for you.
